About the Authors

Andrew Strathern is an Andrew W. Mellon Professor in the Department of Anthropology at University of Pittsburgh. He and his wife, Dr. Pamela Stewart, are the editors of the European Anthropology Series, the Ritual Studies Monograph Series, and the Ethnographic Studies in Medical Anthropology Series for Carolina Academic Press.

Dr. Pamela Stewart is in the Department of Anthropology at University of Pittsburgh. She and her husband, Professor Andrew Strathern, are the editors of the European Anthropology Series, the Ritual Studies Monograph Series, and the Ethnographic Studies in Medical Anthropology Series for Carolina Academic Press.

Laurence Carucci is a Professor of Anthropology in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Montana State University.
