The Odd Volume Menu offers a fascinating glimpse into the culinary tastes and social customs of a late-Victorian book club. Presented as a record of the dinner held at Willis's Rooms on February 3rd, 1888, by the Sette of Odd Volumes, this volume provides a unique insight into the gastronomic preferences and convivial atmosphere of a specific social circle during that period.

More than just a list of dishes, the menu serves as a historical artifact, reflecting the opulence and formality of Victorian dining. It provides a valuable resource for anyone interested in culinary history, social history, or the culture of book clubs and literary societies.
