Scrapbook of newspaper clippings compiled by an unknown individual, whose pencil writing inside dates most articles between 1920 and 1935. Apparently a former ledger, some manuscript text is visible beneath clippings. Toning throughout. Leaves from original ledger removed at margin to accommodate thickness of added material. Filled with news-clipped articles and photos of biological anomalies, natural phenomena, and unexplained occurrences. Articles include 7'10 "Giant" Robert Wadlow, conjoined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton, 100-lb."Bouncing Baby" Helen Karsulvz, the World's Smallest Child, Biggest Bell, Tiniest Steam Engine, "Pigmies of Dogdom" (chihuahuas), lightning, snow, and ice storms, mysterious property fires, and a "Weird Sea Monster" caught at Block Island and embalmed for show.
