Quarto. 752 pages, indexed. A large format book measuring just over 10 inches tall by 7 1/4 inches wide. Hardcover bound in burgundy leather-back cloth. The leather spine has raised bands with elaborate gilt stamping in the compartments. Scuffing and small tear at foot. Boards are scuffed. Rear board has dark mark at lower right corner. Marbled endpapers. Some pages are toned, text in general is foxed. Dog-eared pages. Text is in French. There is a gilt "2" on the spine, so we assume this is Volume 2, and the printed note on the last page of the text indicates that this is the second volume of a set.

Pages Past is a small used and antiquarian bookshop holding 10,000-15,000 volumes. We are located a few blocks from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Most of our books are hardback, although we have a few bookcases of paperbacks with recent fiction and classic literature represented. We also have a fairly good collection of Eastern Philosophy & Religion (Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism) as well as New Age. Most of these are recent paperbacks in nice condition. We have a good collection of antiquarian books in the fields of Americana, old leather bound books, and early religious and scholarly books. Shop hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. We're closed on Sundays. We are always interested in buying quality books in very good condition.…
