About the Author

John Strand is the owner of Black Hills Information Security, a penetration testing company based in South Dakota. He co-hosts Enterprise Security Weekly, part of the Security Weekly family of podcasts. In his free time he enjoys farming with his wife, mountain biking with his kids, singing loud rock music and making futile attempts at fly fishing.
