Officina Parthenopes

Woodbank Press is an independent private press based in Warsaw, Poland, publishing limited editions of classic literature in the tradition of the European private press. Each edition is limited to no more than 25 numbered copies. Particular attention is given to typography, page design, paper, and binding, drawing inspiration from the finest European books of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Carefully selected mould-made cotton papers, traditional leather bindings, and marbled papers are chosen for their permanence, tactile qualities, and quiet elegance. Woodbank Press does not reproduce historic books. Instead, each publication is conceived as an original edition, bringing together literary heritage, classical typography, and traditional craftsmanship for readers and collectors who value finely made books. Every volume is designed and bound in Warsaw, reflecting a continuing commitment to the enduring principles of the private press tradition.
