Original staple-bound printed wraps pp208-222 containing two notes. The first, "Dounga", deals with the location of Dounga and Dhenukakata; the second, "An Indian Source" investigates what reference Ptolemy used in his 7th Book of Geography. Johnston (1885-1942) was Boden Professor of Sanskrit at Oxford University. Wraps and interiors very good, tanning towards the edges. Short 1cm tear to top edge of back wrap.
