If you are looking for a tender steak, delectable seafood or scrumptious dessert, this book is for you. No matter where you find yourself in the great state of Ohio, and no matter what time of day, there is good food waiting for you right around the corner.
From prime rib and fried chicken to burgers and wraps, Eating Your Way Across Ohio features 101 of the best places to enjoy a meal. Food lover and author Karen Patterson has travelled the Buckeye State in search of the best food Ohio has to offer and found it from one side of the state to the other. The result is this book that features locally owned eateries bistros, café s, roadhouses, grilles, buffets, and more - bustling with hungry customers. No chain restaurants and no fast food, just great places to enjoy Ohio s best.
Award-winning author and journalist Karen Patterson covered over 7000 miles of Ohio's hills, valleys, lowlands, towns and cities to visit more than 100 restaurants. In Eating Your Way Across Ohio: 101 Must Places to Eat, she includes only 101 of the best locally owned and managed establishments where one can get a tasty meal in a comfortable environment at a reasonable price.
Sure, some places feature gourmet dining, and others offer intimate candlelight dinners, but so many more let you relax in the environment of a 1950s diner, a holistic all natural eatery, a coffee and dessert café or a southern barbeque place.
Whether you are eating on the run or luxuriously lingering over a good meal, there is a restaurant for you, and if not just around the corner certainly within a tank of gas from where you are.
This book is all about simple food, great atmosphere and terrific service! Explore, eat and enjoy!
