About the Author: Writer and historian Michael J. Launay is a member of the board of directors of the Madison Township Historical Society of Old Bridge. He has written articles for the Asbury Park Press, Jersey Journal, and Weird NJ Magazine and has contributed to a number of articles in the New York Times. In Old Bridge, he has compiled photographs and stories of Old Bridge Township through the years to create a fascinating account of its unique people and history.
