Elephant Folio. 52cm x 40cm. Number 364 of 500. Only fifty copies were printed on elephant Folio size. Beveled quarter leather boards on wine cloth. Boards are bumped and rubbed. Gilt title to spine. The text block has parted from the boards due to weight, size and poor handling. The prelims are loose and the page edges are chipped and slightly discoloured. The plate pages are tight and clean with only some dusty discolouration to edges. The price reflects the condition. 103 plates the majority are full page images of Edinburgh. Facing page to each plate provides a description of the print. Plate xcvi is of Gallows Tower Inverkeithing Plate xcvii Old Houses Inverkeithing Plate xcviii- xcix Stirling The Mint Plate c-ci-cii-ciii Stirling Old House. This volume will require additional postage for delivery outside the UK.
