These pamphlets contain many early references and valuable evidence on the origin of cricket, its Laws, and its wider role in society. They were put out by Richards, of Nottingham, from 1923 to 1929, with the specific intention of being bound at some later stage with a title-page, frontispiece, contents page and the index at the close.
