The Old Testament: Made Amazingly Simple

More than 70% of The Bible is contained in The Old Testament

The Bible in many ways is like a puzzle. It is made up of many pieces, with varying shapes and textures.

The pieces are individually important but it's not until you put them all together that you get the full picture.

You might know a few stories from the Old Testament (Noah and his ark or Ruth and her kinsman) but the Old Testament can feel intimidating.

The stories are interwoven with hundreds of years of family lines. The culture is different and stories are filled with unfamiliar words.

But without the Old Testament we can't put all the pieces of the puzzle together and we miss out on fully understanding who God is and what he's done for us..

As part of our ‘Made Amazingly Simple’ series, we've simplified all 929 chapters of The Old Testament, into enjoyable 'cliff-notes' style summaries.

Each book in the Old Testament is laid out in beautifully designed, two page cheat-sheets, so you can:

‣ Uncover who authored the book and when it was written

‣ Learn the significance behind each book

‣ Master the notable versus you need to know

‣ Easily understand the key lessons each book is trying to teach us

‣ Enjoy the most popular stories from each chapter

This isn’t a substitute for reading The Bible, but it will give you a head start into understanding what The Old Testament is trying to teach us.
