Prefacio del autor. El texto está acompañado de excelentes fotografías y esquemas. Asimismo, se incluyen 5 láminas desplegables de gran formato con planos de diferentes tipos de embarcaciones. La cuarta lámina se ha desprendido, pero se encuentra resguardada en una especie de compartimento puesto en la 3ª de forros por el propietario anterior. Sobras capitulares.
