About the Author

Oliver Payne and Nick Relph were born, respectively, in 1977 and 1979, in England. They studied at Kingston University of Fine Arts and have recently enjoyed their first big solo show, held simultaneously at the National Museum of Art in Oslo and the MusEe d'art moderne de la ville de Paris/ARC. They were nominated for the Beck's Futures Award in 2002, and their work has been screened at the 2003 Venice Biennale and the 2003 Tate Triennale.
