Dawn L. Watkins, whom some accuse of never having quite grown up, relishes the fanciful tale, especially when it tells the truth. She often endeavors to dress important themes in ways that will delight the young and the young at heart and make the message memorable. She teaches literature, script writing, and novel writing at Bob Jones University, and she writes textbooks for the University Press. In her leisure time she gardens, makes costumes and original designs for clothes, and writes children's books and poetry.
