This 5.25 x 7.75, 280 page book is in good condition and would be classified as very good save for the cracking hinge only involving the first half dozen pages. (See additional picture) The red covers with gilt lettering and design are bright and elegant, the four corners and spine crown and foot sharp and sound. The date of 1910 is on both the title and copyright pages. The tissue-guarded frontis is intact and clean. There are no markings in the book. The slightly deckled edges are distinctly noticeable. This book seems to gather together a small number of stories and essays gathered abroad as a correspondent. Although the condition and desire for this book suggests a higher price, we wish to offer it at a lower cost as an honest bargain to today's collector. 280 pages.
