Signature by author on title page accompanied by his "3" cattle brand, Quarto (28 cm), pp. 100. Brown cloth with gilt titling, bumped at extreimities. Pictorial jacket with numerous chips and tears. Black and white photography throughout accompany Ralston's poems. A prospector who eventually settled and ranched near Choteau, Montana, Ralston was the father of artist J.K. Ralston.

Elk River Books is a partnership between poet Marc Beaudin and journalist Andrea Peacock. We opened our doors in 2011, and moved to our current location in 2021. We offer affordable, high quality books, journals, maps, note cards (many by local artists) and other literary gifts.
