The Open Secret: A Study of Life's Deeper Forces is a philosophical book written by James Thompson Bixby and originally published in 1912. The book explores the idea that there is a hidden force or power that underlies all of life's phenomena, and that this force can be understood and harnessed to achieve greater fulfillment and success in life. Bixby draws on a wide range of philosophical and spiritual traditions, including Buddhism, Hinduism, and the teachings of Jesus Christ, to explore this concept of the ""open secret."" He argues that by tapping into this hidden force, individuals can achieve greater self-awareness, wisdom, and happiness. Throughout the book, Bixby offers practical advice and exercises to help readers develop their understanding of this force and apply it to their daily lives. The Open Secret is a thought-provoking and inspiring work that continues to resonate with readers today. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
