About the Author: Lar C. Short is the founder & spiritual director of Grace Essence Mandala (GEM). GEM is a non-sectarian, non-dogmatic spiritual organization, based on the fact that transcendence is basic for all human beings, prior to and beyond the limits of any tradition. 

Lar has over 50 years of formal spiritual work and teaching.
