Openly Gay Openly Christian: How the Bible Really is Gay Friendly

The Bible Really is LGBTQ (+) friendly and affirming says Rev. Samuel Kader as he shows in his ground-breaking and now classic book. You'll learn what lessons can be learned from Scripture, history and experience. Here in direct language, we find what is REALLY contained in the Bible regarding homosexuality and gay relationships, and the results are truly surprising! Jonathan, an Old Testament prince in ancient Israel was probably not only gay but in love with the same man (David) as his sister. Both brother and sister had marriage ceremonies of life commitment with this warrior, David, in the Biblical account. But David declared he loved Jonathan the most. The words of undying love between two women, Ruth and Naomi, are still used today for wedding vows.

The so-called clobber passages used to harm and hurt the LGBTQ (+) community are studied extensively and shown to have nothing whatsoever to do with homosexuality. Additionally, the scriptures that actually affirm LGBTQ (+) persons are uncovered along with the prophecies that accompany them.

These issues and more are explored by Rev. Samuel Kader, a pastor in the flow of the gay Christian movement since 1975.Rev. Kader's pastoral and personal insights make this pioneering book a must read for all people.
