Tre volumi di cm. 15,5, xvi, xcvi, 205 (3); xxiv, 231(1); xii, 254 (2). Con un'antiporta nel primo volume e 17 bellissime tavole f.t. finemente incise in rame (disegni di Cochin, incisioni di Duflos), decine tra testatine e finalini sempre incisi in rame. Marchi tipografici in xilografia di sapore elzeviriano. Splendida legatura strettamente coeva in piena pelle con titoli in oro su doppio tassello rosso e ricchi fregi al dorso; tagli dorati, piatti inquadrati da triplice filetto e dentelles dorate. Segnacolo in seta e sguardie in bella carta policroma. Trascurabile menda alla cuffia superiore del secondo volume, impercettibili/sporadiche macchiette. Esemplare nel complesso fresco e ben conservato. Raffinata edizione figurata Barbou delle opere di Virgilio (Bucoliche, Georgiche, Poemi giovanili ed Eneide, collocata integralmente nel secondo e nel terzo volume) con ampie note critiche di Stephanus Andrea Philippe poste in calce a ciascuna opera.
