Binding in very good clean firm condition. Internally, modern free endpapers, title with woodcut printer's device recto and contents within woodcut pillars verso, woodcut head-pieces and fine criblé historiated initials. Lacking final f. with woodcut printer's device otherwise blank. Title with repair at head of inner gutter and neatly mounted on stub, BB3&4 small hole in lower margin, marginal water-staining, heavier at end, a few small worm holes, trace to inner gutter and lower margins, occasional spotting or light staining, lightly browned, ornately blind-stamped contemporary.
