Köln, Hieratus et Gymnicus, 1612. Folio. 8 parts in 2 vols. Totalling 2763 pp. With engraved title-page and numerous woodcuts in the text (esp. first parts). Blindstamped vellum over paper boards. (vol.1: vellum repaired, first four leaves repaired in the bottom corner; small marginal wormholes throughout, some pages more heavily wormed with a few letters text loss; lower corner water stained throghout (first quires water damaged and mouldy) throughout; vol.2: binding a bit scratched; a few marginal worm holes; some light marginal water stains; ties missing) - heavy set, additional postage. The leaves in the binding of boads are from the incunable Decretales; Mainz, Peter Schöffer, 1473. - (all our books are in (near) fine condition, unless described otherwise).
