4to. 60[2]pp, text tables. Contemporary plain green pebble-grained cloth, uncut/unopened. Spine lightly sun-faded; light vertical creases to front free endpaper. Provides lists of coverts together with statistics of foxes earthed and killed. The main body of text is in the form of a diary, repetitive in its approach - start, finish, horses ridden, number of hounds etc. The work is completed with further lists including pack members with brief pedigrees and a 'general review of sport in each year' from 1787. DISCOVER lists this edition at BL, also the 1834-5 season (1835) at York Minster and the 1837-37 season (1838) at Durham. OCLC adds copies for the following seasons 1834-35, 1837-38 (2), 1838-39(2) and 1839 at the University of Virginia.
