About the Author

F. Robert Jacobs is Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, in Bloomington.  With over 30 years of consulting and academic exerience, he is the author of popular textbooks, has published in the top journals, and taught at all level at the university.  He is the past president of the Decision Sciences Institute, and has served on the board of directors of APICS - The Association for Operations Management.
