The Operative Manual of Endoscopic Surgery, Volume 2 represents new procedures in endoscopic surgery. All these techniques have been clinically tested. The editors and the authors, pioneers and experts in the field of endoscopic surgery, have described these operative procedures clearly, giving a detailed step-by-step account of the operations, instruments needed and layout of equipment and staff. The text is illustrated by the most modern computer-designed drawings. In a completely new style these drawings give all necessary information concerning each individual operative step from both the endoscopic and conventional perspectives. This volume focuses upon advanced procedures such as thoracic oesophageal resection and procedures involving the gastro-intestinal tract, which were not covered in Volume 1.
