Optical Fiber Sensors, Volume IV: Applications, Analysis, and Future Trends

The fourth volume in a series, this work details coverage of recent developments in the field of optical fibre sensors. It describes the impact which fibre sensors are having in such areas as chemical and environmental monitoring, structural instrumentation and smart structure, process control and engineering, and specialist industrial measurements.

Professor Brian Culshaw is professor of electronics at Strathclyde University, Scotland. He earned his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from University College London.

Professor John Dakin is the leader of the optical fiber sensors group within the optoelectronics research center at the University of Southampton, England.
