Optical Illusions Playing Cards

There are two ways of seeing things. And sometimes what you think you're seeing isn't really there at all. This playing card deck of 55 poker-size cards presents an eye-catching collection of optical illusions that fool the eyes and delight the imagination. Colors, shapes, and appearances transform themselves magically before your eyes. Each card presents a different optical illusion with an explanation of the effect. Many of the optical illusions are famous and familiar including the MacKay Effect and the Muller-Lyer Illusion. Designs in the Optical Illusions Playing Card Deck were created by Pentagram, based on the best-selling books Pentamagic (Simon and Schuster) and Phantasmagrams (Random House). This 54-card Poker deck includes two Jokers and is suitable for playing most card games. The Optical Illusion Playing Card deck is also great for travel fun.See also: Optical Illusions and Visual Oddities I, Optical Illusions and Visual Oddities II, Optical Illusions and Visual Oddities Double Deck Set, More Illusions and Visual Oddities, and Can You Believe Your Eyes?.
