IOUG Board of Directors President and DBA Team Lead, DRW Holdings
Michelle is an Oracle ACE Director and the DBA Team Lead at DRW Holdings in Chicago, with several years experience in database development, design and administration. She has expertise in security, performance tuning, data modeling and database architecture of very large database environments. When she is not applying CPU patches or securing her own company's databases, she writes articles and gives presentations on security and compliance topics as well as other database administrative areas such as RAC, ASM and recovery. She is also a contributing author for multiple books including the IOUG Best Practices Tip Booklet. She has been very involved in the IOUG, and is currently serving as president on the Board of Directors.



Michael S. Abbey (Ottawa, CN) has been using Oracle for 15 years, has co-authored seven books for Oracle Press, and has given presentations on Oracle throughout North America and Europe. Michael leads the Pythian Group’s dbaSource team in Ottawa, Canada, which provides Internet-based Oracle DBA support. He has also been a volunteer in Oracle user groups, facilitating delivery of IOUG–A’s IOUG-A Live! from 1997 to 2000.

Ian Abramson (@iabramson) lives in Toronto, Canada, where he works for EPAM Systems as the Canadian Director of Enterprise Data, a global leader in softwareengineering. Ian is a graduate in Mathematics from Concordia University in Montreal. His involvement with implementing solutions using Oracle technology and data warehouses reaches back over 25 years, as a developer of creative and innovative solutions for clients around the globe. He is the past president of the IOUG (Independent Oracle Users Group) and continues to share his knowledge through his lively presentations and published technical articles and blog. She enjoyspresenting and sharing ideas about Oracle database topics at conferences and user group meetings.

Michael Corey (@Michael_Corey) is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ntirety. Michael is a frequent speaker at technology and business conferences throughout the world, from Australia to Brazil.
