About the Author

J.J. Koehler, a native son of the great state of Texas, has had some short stories published, such as Cuyo's Dream in Q-VO magazine. He is familiar with working in the fields and the life that is led by many Chicanos who have a similar background. His maternal grandmother raised him until he reached the age of 14, when he was on his own. J.J. Koehler has a B.A. degree in Human Services Administration from Metropolitan University, St. Paul, MN, and an M.B.A. and M.P.A. from City University, Bellevue, WA.
