Orbert (Paperback)

Paperback. Kaylani and Jade are half-sisters enjoying the summer in Hawaii at their family's Victorian estate on Nai'a Bay. Kaylani was too young to remember her mom, a world-renowned archaeologist. When the sisters' best friend Eli and his pug go missing from the family farm, a police investigation turns up some disturbing evidence: a triangular crop formation with a high level of electromagnetic activity. Uncle Ernie and Auntie Mei, longtime caretakers of the estate, unlock the secret room upstairs with stained-glass windows. It is their hope that a mystical artifact, the Ancient Honu, might lead them to Eli. Will the powers of the Hawaiian green turtle - known for its wisdom and good luck - help them find Eli? Little do they know that the evil Dr. Zykin, a Gray alien, is conducting experiments on human emotions. The sisters experience an encounter with an unlikely creature named Orbert - a half-alien, half-human who brings some unexpected turns to their cosmic adventure. This item is printed on demand.
