Two volumes, paperback, published in 1952 and 1953. Volume 1 with blue cover titles and volume 2 with black. A good only set with heavy wear at the edges and corners, and heavy scuffing toward the lower corner of the front of volume 1. Previous owner's name at the top of the endpapers of both volumes, along with a previous bookstore price erasure. Unmarked text, bindings are solid, but lacking tightness, and volume one opens widely between the last two gatherings. Combined at 727 pp., filled with beautiful black and white illustrations of orchid varieties.
