About the Author

Rosemary Foot is a Professor of International Relations and John Swire Senior Research Fellow in the International Relations of East Asia, St Antony's College, University of Oxford. John Lewis Gaddis is Robert A. Lovett Professor of History at Yale University. Andrew Hurrell is a University Lecturer in International Relations and a Fellow of Nuffield College, University of Oxford.
