About the Author: Ken Vieth is an artist/teacher with twenty-nine years of experience. He has presented at art conferences on the state and national level and is the author of numerous articles for SchoolArts magazine.
As an artist, Ken has worked in a variety of media, both two and three dimensional. His most recent work is mixed media sculpture, which is held in private collections in the U.S., Canada, and England.
Ken Vieth has received support from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, Princeton University, and a Christa McAuliffe Fellowship (1997) in New Jersey, enabling him to develop his educational work in visual problem solving. He has also received a Fulbright from the U.S. to work in England and in 1997, a Fulbright from the Japanese government.
