In the town of Snohomish, nestled into the shrubs of the riverbank, lives an ordinary writing spider named Alvera. She loves weaving her webs by night and watching the townspeople by day, until things go topsy-turvy. The people begin waving signs and yelling at each other from shop doorways. Alvera has an idea about how to help, but will it be enough? A curious raccoon and a cranky cat wonder the same thing as they journey along with Alvera through the night.

About the Author

Constance lives in the Northwest with her husband of 30 years, two sassy cattle dogs, and one lazy cat. She loves to splash around in local lakes with her kayak, hike tree-lined mountian trails, and capture special moments with her photography. She has an Associate of Arts Degree and a Bachelor's Degree with disciplines in Sociology and Art. And best of all, she gets to be a mother to three grown children.
