This map was included in a review of "Memoranda of a Residence at the Court of London, Comprising Incidents Official and Personal, From 1819 to 1825. Including Negotiations on the Oregon Question and Other Unsettled Questions between the United States and Great Britain" by Richard Rush. Philadelphia : Lea and Blanchard, 1845. Howes R523. The map, printed on onion skin or rice paper, was trifolded and tipped in. Views from 44 to 54 degrees N. Latitude and from 110 to 132 degrees Longitude. Oregon became a state in February of 1859; its boundaries settled in 1846, a year after this map was printed.
