Condition: Good. 1891. No Edition Remarks. 272 pages. No dust jacket. Signed by the author. Purple cloth with gilt lettering. News clipping adhered to front free endpaper. Ex Libris plate to front pastedown. Noticeable tanning to pages with slight foxing and heavier tanning to text block edges. Pen inscription to second free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with visible staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with heavy crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Page fore-edges yellowed. Internally, light stain on frontispiece and a little yellowing to initial pages; just a little yellowing and a few small discolouration spots to other pages; otherwise, a good, clean copy.
