This book looks at the current theories of organizational change through the examination of actual cases. Organizational change is looked at from the different perspectives of: organizational culture, personal reaction, interface with the organization environment, organizational dynamics, and decision making.
Dr. Craig Kuriger is a retired federal manager. His 30 year career encompassed the events described in this book. After retiring from Federal service in 1999, the author obtained his Ph.D. in 2003 in applied management and decision sciences from Walden University in Minneapolis. His other degrees include an M.S. (1976) in systems management from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL and a B.A. (1969) in mathematics from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. He has been a student of organizational change since he first became a manager.
Dr. Kuriger is presently an adjunct professor of computer science and business at Black Hawk College, Moline, Illinois. Dr. Kuriger resides with his wife, Marsha, in Geneseo, Illinois.
