Steve Springer, M.A., has taught for more than 20 years and has developed teacher
training programs for the Los Angeles Unified School District. He has a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, focusing on teaching science through the arts. Springer is also a presenter at bilingual and new teacher conferences.

Kimberly Persiani-Becker, EdD, is an associate professor at California State University, Los Angeles in the area of Curriculum and Instruction. She received her doctorate from the University of San Francisco in international and multicultural education.
