Oria's Rippin' Adventure (Ocean Bowl: The Beautiful Game in the Sea)

The unknown lurks behind every fun adventure that Oria and team face. Their riptide adventure starts off with three girls just "having a ball" but quickly turns side ways and someone with 5 arms has to save the day.

A lover of the beach, Roman Sudan wanted to bring attention to the dangers of swimming in waters that have rip currents to the young and old. Montagueo's passion for S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, ART and math) naturally integrates into everything he does, including the creation of the Ocean Bowl series. Paraphrasing Gandhi, "The change we need to see in our world, starts with our children. The mission is to engage, socialize and promote literacy, conservation and S.T.E.A.M. Keeping our children's attention, continues to be a serious challenge. Engaging them early with artistic activities...I believe we will inspire a greater future for our communities."

Oria is a snubfin dolphin. She loves being adventurous and living her life. Her friends try their hardest to keep her out of trouble. But they end up having the time of their life too. "Lets Go! I got this!" Ocean Bowl Website

Roman Sudan Montagueo II was born and raised in Chicago Illinois. As an often bored youth, he managed to stay out of trouble by drawing and doodling. A gifted youngster, he maintained fantastic grades, even though he had a lot of trouble focusing in school. Roman's life hasn't always been easy and he believes his struggles have not only made him stronger, but instilled a sense of compassion that drive him to better the world around him one step at a time. Using motivational speeches and books, he hopes to inspire a whole new generation of young people to create change, tackle important issues like climate change, and challenge themselves to be better every day. While consulting at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago he was splashed by a dolphin and this sparked an idea; what if dolphins had their own football league? And the rest is history. Roman knew he wanted to focus on several key areas with his kid-oriented book series: S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art and math), education and entertainment mixed (edutainment), a diverse cast of characters, addressing the issue of pollution and trash in the oceans, and relatable materials for children of color. He's a proud father, an innovator, and strives to be a driving force behind not only his community, but other communities in need of strong voices and leadership.
