Orientation, Vocation and Intelligences

Providing career guidance is no easy task for teachers. In an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world, young people need more than ever the guidance of a counsellor who can help them discover their true strengths and connect with their deepest vocation. In this work, the result of her doctoral thesis, Dr Mayra Daniella Escobar Rivas offers a fresh perspective on career guidance, integrating the theory of multiple intelligences as a fundamental axis in decision-making. With an approachable and thoughtful style, the author takes the reader on a journey of self-discovery, demonstrating that choosing a career does not mean fulfilling external expectations, but rather aligning the mind, heart and individual talents to build a fulfilling and purposeful life project. An essential book for counsellors and teachers who want clarity, confidence and practical tools to guide students towards a truly meaningful academic and professional future.Dr. Omar Escalona Vivas
