About the Author
Jim Schild, from the Illinois side of St. Louis, spent 30 years in the U.S. Army, with service in Vietnam and in the Persian Gulf, retiring as lieutenant colonel. A lifelong car enthusiast, Schild brings a unique combination of talents to the subject as restorer/craftsman, as writer, and as photographer. Schild has been bringing Model As back to life for more than 20 years.
