About this Item
Original cardboard, 11 by 12 1/2 inches (plus margins). Original unsigned illustration presumably for Saturday Evening Post, though no story titled 'Marine Tales' could be found by us (despite that being the title inked at verso by a previous owner who also states that Fischer was a friend of the family). Given the quality of the work this seems very likely to be by Fischer, though not one of his higher quality nautical scenes. Very Good, usual glue shadows around edges. Seller Inventory # 37050
