Complete including 4 Additional engraved title pages, 6 Colored Plates, 1 B&W Plate, 1 folded "Pedigree of the Paston family of Norfolk", 28 plates I-XXVIII of which 4 are printed in red ink. Parallel transcription of letters and modernised text. Vol 1 & 2 2nd Ed. Vol 3 & 4 1st Ed. All four volumes uniformly bound in contemporary speckled calf. The smooth spine separated into six compartments with gilt, with a black leather label in the second compartment from the top. Boards and spine rubbed, joints cracked but holding well in each volume. Original owner by descent. Bookplate of Lord Sandys (Edwin Sandys, 1726-1797, MP, succeeded as the 2nd Baron Sandys in 1770.) The volumes measure 28 x 22 x 4 cm. Each leaf measures 270 x 207 mm.
