An advertisement including menus and recipes featuring Curtice Brothers products. Curtice brothers Simeon (1839-1905) and Edgar (1844-1920) opened a small grocery store in Rochester, NY in 1868. They later formed a canning business to preserve surplus produce that did not sell in their grocery store. It became one of the largest canning companies in the US at the time. After Simeon Curtice's death in 1905, the company was passed on to his daughter, who sold it after her marriage in 1913. This booklet advertises some of their canned and bottled products, as well as recipes for chicken timbales, escalloped turkey on shells, and peach meringue custard, among others.
