A white gloss paint mark across leather spine and a 'blob' of white paint and old partly removed tape mark on rear cover (not sellotape - more a old attached material type cloth tape). The spine and cover have parts of the leather missing and wear around edges and spine etc. Front cover held by strings. First two pages before title page3 are loose but there. Small 'old' worm type hole in titile page and the next few pages. A stain on top parts of first few pages - old and not very serious but noticeable. Book after defects mentioned is very clean and sound. A volume showing signs of age (1775) and use.See images from Winghale Books.
