Add to basketLondon, Maull & Fox, about 1905. 16,5 x 10,5 cm. An elderly Whiteing leaning with his elbow on a book-strewn carved desk, looking into the camera. Number written on text side, otherwise fine. From the journalist and author (1840-1928) of 'The Island' (1888), about living in utopian conditions on Pitcairn Island. With autograph inscription on the lower edge: 'From Comrade to Comrade/ Richard Whiteing'. Maull's address is given as '187a Piccadilly '. An attractive inscribed writer's picture.
