Original publisher's beige paper brochure; one leaf folded in half. 6 1/4" x 9 1/2." Printed on all four panels (two panels printed front and back), complete. One full-page, black-and-white, illustrated advertisement for Sherman Clay on back, complete. Brochure is very clean and intact except for center horizontal and vertical fold lines and some wrinkling and age toning. A Very Good copy. Program for a multi-act performance by Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo (also, Monte-Carlo), as directed by Sergei J. Denham (1876-1970), a Russian-American businessman. Denham's Ballet Russe was formed in the mid-1930s after the dissolution of Wassily de Basil's Ballets Russes. Some of the original members of De Basil's Ballets Russes formed the foundation of Denham's Ballet Russe. Denham directed the new Ballet Russe until his passing in 1970. The program lists the acts or different musical performances of the ballet; among them, "Les Sylphides," "Paquita," and "Divertissements from 'Raymonda.'".
