Original typescript in black ink on white paper. Stapled three times at the top. Datelined July 19, 1953 at the Trout Valley Hatchery in Deep Creek, Washington. 8 1/2" x 11." Three pages, complete. Pages are very clean and intact except for slight wrinkling. A Fine copy. A transcribed copy of articles and talks about Washington settlers. Each article is brief, no more than about one page. Transcribed by Jessie Simpson. The typescript begins with the story of settlers Fred McDowell, Mrs. J. H. Albert, and Frank Kepke, and ends with a talk by Hubert Boyd, owner of the hatchery.
