Poetry. ORIGINAL WHITE ANIMALS is Tracy Philpot's third book of poetry. "Tracy Philpot details the most tender apocalypse yet imagined in our day, a Peaceable Kingdom quickly becomes the end of the world. And read it now and see for yourself how all creation will put on new garments of whiteness, and know in yourself and on your own skin what the endless searing tenderness of purity will be. This is a summoning book and a consummation"--Donald Revell. Philpot's work has appeared in such publications as Colorado Review, Fence, and Luna. She lives in Alaska.

Tracy Philpot lives just outside Seldovia, Alaska, a remote community accessible only by plane or boat, in a little cabin with her husband, son, and animals. She received her Ph.D. and MA from the University of Denver, and now works as an advocate for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Her first book, Incorrect Distances, was published by the University of Georgia Press.
